Fruit Salad with Pomegranate Recipe

Crisp, juicy fruit is cool and refreshing to eat during the summer.

This fruit salad makes a daily appearance on my table during Ramadan. I mix it with fresh citrus juices, salt and sugar, which makes a flavorful syrup.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 large apple, cored and diced
• 1 large pear, cored and diced
• A handful of grapes cut in half
• A handful of pomegranate kernels
• 1 lemon, juiced
• 1 orange, juiced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar

METHOD

  1. Mix everything together and serve.

Tips and Bits

I always leave skin on apples and pears but you can peel them if you prefer.


You can make this ahead of time and keep in the fridge without the salt and sugar.
