Pecan Chocolate Bars Recipe

Don't wait for Thanksgiving or Christmas or a special occasion to make these. Treat yourself to them today and enjoy!

I'm a purest at heart especially with classic recipes like pecan pie. However, I never underestimate the power of chocolate! And, in these pecan pie bars chocolate really does make them blissfully better.

These bars are pretty simple to make and are ideal when you don't want a pie. The are easy to transport and you can store leftovers for several days.

Take note... please toast your pecans to bring out their nutty fragrance and robust flavor. The crust is easy peasy but if you are really pressed for time, use a store bought pie crust.
